We may or may not require information such as your social security number, identification ID or tax ID, date of birth, bank account information, credit card information and/or other proof of identification in order to verify your identity and provide our service to you. Credit card information on a vendor’s account may be stored and used for both billing and payment purposes whichever is necessary. We may contact vendors to confidentially request more information about their company or products listed on This Site, to ensure compliance with our rules. Certain products or services on may require vendors to complete an application and/or sign a contract with us; any information you submit through the application processes will not be displayed publicly and will only be used internally by Mail My Food, unless otherwise specified.

What information do we share with third parties and for what reasons?

We share customer and or vendor information only as described below (and in some instances above) with third parties. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Our website works solely on vendors offering their products to customers. As such, vendors must and will receive all the necessary information in order to ship your purchased products, items and/or services as you have provided to us during the checkout process as well as for any necessary returns.

Vendors and or other parties will have access to customer information and vice versa in the event of a disagreement/dispute that needs to be resolved. We do however have a signed agreement with vendors in which your Privacy as a customer is protected as per our Privacy Policy. We shall however not be held accountable for the miss use of your information on their account.

We employ other companies and/or individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as but not limited to: Delivering packages (such as the U.S. Postal Service, UPS, and Fed-Express), sending postal mail and e-mail, printing, data enhancement, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links, -including paid listings and links- , processing credit card payments, PayPal services, and/or providing customer service. They will have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but they are not authorized to use the information we share with them for any other purpose.

We may at times send offers to our customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give those businesses your name and address.

At your direction or request, we may share your information.

We might sell, merge or liquidate our business or buy others. In that case, customer and or vendor information generally is one of the transferred business assets, but that the third party will agree to adhere to the terms of our Privacy Policy and will only use your personal data for the purposes that you provided us to do so. We will release account and other personal information when law enforcement, governmental agencies, or authorized third-parties, in response to a verified request relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity or any other activity that may expose us, you, vendors or related third parties to legal liability. We will disclose necessary and relevant information to the investigation or inquiry, such as but not limited to: Full name, city, state, ZIP code, telephone numbers, email address, IP address, fraud complaints, and anything else we may deem relevant to the investigation.

We will not disclose your personal information to law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties without a subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent physical harm, financial loss or to report suspected illegal activity.

We do our best to protect the security of your information during the purchase transmission by using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

We might only reveal the last four digits of your credit card/debit card number when confirming an order. We however, have to transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company or merchant account company during order processing.

We might report information to credit bureaus that relate to your account, such as but not limited to, late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your account and these may or may not be reflected in your credit report.

Other than as above stated, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have the opportunity to choose not to share such information.

Once again we stress the importance of protecting your password which gives access to your account on as stated in our Terms Of Use. Please be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

What can you and how can you opt out of


You will not be able to opt-out of service related messages, such as, but not limited to: confirmation email when you register your account, notification of an order, news or updates about changes to our Site, or services, or correspondence with mail my food’s customer service. The only way you will not receive this type of e-mail will be when you close your account with us.

Mail My Food will offer you the opportunity to sign up for newsletters. In the event you have signed up, but then wish to opt-out of these you can do so in your “My Account” and clicking on “Newsletter Subscriptions” on the menu to the left of the page.


Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your internet browser on your computer’s hard drive. Your browser has the function for you to allow your computer to accept all cookies, to notify you when a cookie has been issued, or to not receive cookies at all at any time. If you set your computer to not receive cookies at any time, certain personalized services cannot be provided to you, and accordingly, you may not be able to take full advantage of all of the features offers.


In some situations, Mail My Food may contact you by telephone, and/or SMS message in order to provide you with customer support or to provide you with information about products and features you may find of interest. You may update your contact preferences in your “My Account” page. This type of communication will mostly but not exclusively be regarding operational communications, such as confirmation of delivery address.

How do we protect your information?

We protect your information using technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers.

We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input during your purchase. SSL encrypts your credit card number, name and address so only merchant accounts (they process your credit/debit card payment) are able to decode the information.

We constantly stress the need for you to keep your account information up to date and accurate and we provide you with the appropriate access to your account information in your “My Account” page in order for you to keep your information safe and/or change it immediately if need be and a case should arise.

Please take into consideration that no e-mail is encrypted and is not considered a secure way of transmitting your credit card information. "Phishing" is a scam designed to steal your information. If you receive an e-mail that looks like it is from us asking you for certain information, do not respond. We might ask you for your name, but we will never request your password, credit card information or other information through e-mail.

As you complete your account information and establish your settings you will understand the importance of your password.
